I'm so excited to share some wonderful news with you. Recently, my fellow illustrator Ashley Barron and I had the chance to have a conversation with Kirsten Brassard, Senior Publicist, Groundwood Books, about our work on the "Emotions and Me" series.
We talk about our creative processes, the inspiration behind the characters, and our connections to these stories. In the interview, I share how my daughter has been a source of inspiration for my characters, and Ashley reveals how her own childhood experiences with shyness influenced her work.
I hope you'll take a moment to read the full interview and get to know a bit more about what went into creating the worlds of Angry Me, Peaceful Me, and the rest of the series.
