I am happily overwhelmed and so honored to receive the OUTSTANDING YOUNG PROFESSIONAL AWARD from the @iowastateu Iowa State University Alumni Association. Being recognized among such incredible individuals fills my heart with pride.

As I reflect on my journey, I can’t help but think back to 2010 when I made the brave decision to study abroad, hoping to find my place as a free artist in a world that celebrates creativity and liberty. It all began with a hopeful email to Chuck Richard, who became an extraordinary advisor and mentor to me. I nervously asked if I would be a good candidate for the MFA program at ISU, and thanks to his full support from that very first moment I hit send, I am proud to stand here today.

Thank you, Chuck, for believing in me. Thank you, Iowa State University, for being a nurturing home where dreams come to reality. I am forever grateful to the Iowa State University - College of Design and to all the amazing faculty, teachers, and staff who welcomed me with open arms and boundless encouragement from the moment I arrived at ISU. Your kindness and support have shaped my journey in ways I can’t fully express. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! And finally, special thanks to Heather Sauer for all your support from the time I graduated in 2015, and for encouraging me to submit my good news to the College of Design

🎉 *I received this wonderful news from my editor at Putnam Young Readers that The Treasure Box is going to be published in the Vietnamese language by one of the most prestigious children’s book publishers in Vietnam. We love that kids in Vietnam will have this book in their little hands! ❤️
