Goodbye moments!

When someone is traveling, Iranians prepare a tray with a bowl of water.As they walk out the door, the other person throws the water from the bowl behind them. Water needs to be flowing for it to be pure and clean. It becomes putrid if it remains stagnant. Therefore, throwing the water behind the person is symbolic of flowing water, that this person may go safely on their travels, achieve everything they desire and return safely

Years ago when I immigrated to the United States, I could not illustrate a day like today clearly! I had some images in my mind about my future but they were fuzzy and blurred. Then it happened to me to know a society with people who love the same thing I love; Children’s Books!!! It is the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators! #SCBWI

People with having each other support and help one to another to reach to what they all love and care about!

I found my friends and I immediately felt it like my home! I told myself : This is where I belong to! I was not an alien here at SCBWI, not any more!

And today I see my artwork up there on SCBWI Winter Conference webpage! Such a HUGE Honor! Teary Eyes I have but with a BIG Smile!! :)

Yes! The Dream of yesterday is REAL today! :)
